Temple Rules: You are not allowed to enter during menstruation according to Bali customary rules (applies to all temples in Bali)
Weather: The tour runs in all weather. The view of Mount Agung depends on the weather (sometimes covered in fog)

How long does it take to queue for photos at Gate of Heaven?
Depends on arrival time. If you leave early (06:00), queue for around 30-60 minutes. During the day it can be 2-3 hours. That's why we pick up very early for the best experience.
Do you have to climb 1,700+ stairs to take photos at the Gate of Heaven?
NO! The iconic Gate of Heaven photo spot is at the bottom gate, no need to climb the stairs. Climbing to the top is optional for those who want to see the main temple and the view from the top (very tiring).
Is the view of Mount Agung always visible?
Depends on the weather. The morning (before 10:00) is usually clear and Mount Agung is clearly visible. Afternoon to evening it is often covered in clouds/fog. The dry season (April-October) is brighter than the rainy season.
Is this tour private or shared with other people?
This is a PRIVATE tour — just your group in the car with driver/guide. Do not join other tourists. Flexible and more comfortable.
