Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions

Is it safe for beginners who have never dived?

Yes, very safe! We use certified PADI instructors with thousands of dive experiences. You will receive a complete briefing, practice skills in shallow water first, and the instructor will always be beside you throughout the dive.

What if I can't swim well?

You should be able to swim and be comfortable in water, but you don't need to be proficient. Diving equipment (BCD and wetsuit) provides natural buoyancy, so you don't need to swim hard. The instructor will help if you feel uncomfortable.

What will I see under the sea?

Depending on the dive site: colorful coral reefs, hundreds of types of tropical fish (clownfish, angelfish, parrotfish), sea turtles, stingrays, moray eels, and sometimes manta rays or reef sharks (harmless). In Tulamben there is a spectacular USAT Liberty shipwreck!

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No need! All equipment provided (BCD, regulator, tank, wetsuit, mask, fins). You just need to bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes. If you have your own mask/snorkel and want to use it, you can bring it.
